Ive used swiftkey on my iPhone for a long time and really enjoy it. the iPad version, however, is seriously lacking in features compared to apples iPad Pro keyboard. the lack of fifth row is very strange.

After almost 2 years of use, the keyboard is still too buggy for me to use anymore. The keyboard wont load and Im forced to remove access in my settings and regrant access in order to type anything. This happens on a daily basis.

I love this keyboard, it predicts way better than the normal keyboard and has swipe.

This is a fantastic app. I love the minimal coal and shooting star designs. Most "bugs" like the keyboard failing to appear are the fault of apple, and appear with any and all keyboards. Hopefully apple will make third party keyboards more reliable, but you cant blame SwiftKey, it is without a doubt the best option out there.

Please make it remove the space after a word when inserting a ":" or ";". Well pick up the rating.

This version does not offer the same languages as other versions. I have used SwiftKey for mandarin in the past and it is disappointing to see it is not offered

Pro: Overall I much prefer this keyboard to the iOS default. The placement of a combined punctuation key on the right by the return key is so much easier to use. My main issues with it: 1. It does fail to open sometimes. It happens less often than it did in the earlier versions but still occurs. 2. I had built up an awesome predictive text library over time. My street number would predict street name, it knew my email address, etc. Huge time saver. But in a recent upgrade that library was apparently wiped and reset. Since it just doesnt seem to be learning as fast or as well. The predictive text isnt working as far as I can tell even though settings are as they should be which bums me out and negated much of what I loved about it. If this gets fixed I would definitely tate it 4-5 stars. 3. I would like to see the apostrophe added to the punctuation key.

The keyboards are great, the biggest thing they miss is the ability to move the cursor with directional arrows

There have been so many bugs with this app since it came out (Ive used it since), and they do not get resolved. The developers have failed tremendously with this app. The features are amazing but they do not work or the bugs interfere with its function so much. All it brings me is frustration, anger, and time wasted- there is nothing Swift about this app. Bugs: the keyboard will not appear at all without restarting your phone; the keyboard will get bumped down by notifications or apps that have headers so you cant use all the buttons; autocorrect isnt automatic on send so you end up sending ridiculous typos although the app knows of an easy correction; many more I cant think of. Please do not waste your money on this app, at least not until they get their act together, because it is NOT worth a penny.

Sure get this. Pay for the backgrounds, just dont expect to have a keyboard

The app is near perfect but it lacks 3d touch support.

Unfortunately this keyboard isnt everything I had hoped for. It doesnt predict text very well and changes words Ive already typed even when I tell it not to. Just very unintuitive and poorly made. It also doesnt have a large enough library of words.

This keyboard is a blast to use for typing with one hand when I really need to. However, I find that the autocorrect is sometimes just way too intrusive. The keyboard should give at least a subtle warning that my word is about to correct one of my words, like the native keyboard does. As an example, as I have been writing this review, the keyboard autocorrected and capitalized "at" to "St". This goes farther than the Apple keyboard in creating errors that are more inexplicable than the ones it fixes.

My keyboard seems to have unearned all of my words. And yes, Im logged in. Basically useless now. Ill check back in a few months to see if this is resolved.

Literally the only reason Im not using this keyboard full time is that theres no 3D Touch integration like on the standard iOS keyboard.

I love this keyboard! It really does make typing faster when you can swipe through the letters, rather than typing them one by one! However, I can think of several improvements that could be made that would make this great keyboard even greater. One thing that can be improved is the fact that the keyboard hides what you type in landscape orientation on the iPad 2. While typing this review, I had to switch to portrait orientation just to see what I was typing...now, as I am typing this, I am in portrait orientation, and I keep having to push the text field up, and hold it up, just to see what I am typing!! I have read the troubleshooting topic about this, and it basically says that the problem is on Apples side of things, which kind of seems like pointing fingers to me...isnt there /anything/ that you guys can do to work out a solution??? PLEASE try to find a way to fix this problem...as it stands now, I think Im going to have to find another keyboard app to use, even if it means I cant use the swiping feature, because this problem is crippling SwiftKey!
